Verizon may not have as many bundled perks as some of the other carriers out there, but it does, at the very least, offer up a six month free trial period of Apple Music . So that’s something. But it looks like the partnership between Verizon and Apple is going to get a bit better for customers, based on unofficial information shared on Tuesday by 9to5Mac . A new promotion at work is a solid way to start the New Year. Ebro Darden has been working as a Beats 1 host for quite some time, but, as reported by Billboard , he has recently been promoted to a bigger role at Apple Music. According to the publication, Darden is now the Global Editorial Head of Hip-Hop and R&B at the streaming music platform. With the new role, Darden will be tasked with heading the teams in both genres, cultivating editorial content for new releases. Image
Apple doesn’t quite yet have a personalized yearly wrap-up for subscribers to Apple Music, but maybe that will change one day. Until then, let’s turn to third-party fixes. TechCrunch has one such option called “Music Year in Review” from developer NoiseHub. It’s available in the iOS App Store right now as a free download, and it offers a nice, if not very simple, look back at the music you listened to through Apple’s subscription option over the last year. This is similar to Spotify’s own “Wrapped” option, but it’s not as in-depth as that competing platform’s annual breakdown. After you install the app, you will need to enter your email address and then connect the app to Apple Music. Once you’ve got that done the app will look over the necessary metrics and data, and then put together a few different graphs. You will be able to see how much time you spent listening to your favorite artist, your overall favorites i...
